Alice In Chains is one of the most popular grunge band.

    Formend in 1987 by vocalist Layne Staley and guitarist Jerry Cantrell. It's one of the bands from Seattle, wich achieve commerciall success.

    Everybody was calling them grunge band, but in the matter of fact they wanted to be rather Heavy Metal band than grung.   

    Thier music is very morbid and heavy, but stil melodic.
